Vermon (France)
www.vermon.fr
Vermon (France) was established in 1984 with the objective of advancing the state of the art in ultrasonic
phased array transducer design, and has become a world leader in 1-3 piezoelectric composite technology.
Vermon's manufacturing facilities include a 10,000 sq ft environmentally controlled production area,
in-house tooling design and fabrication, computer controlled dicing saws for composite and array fabrication,
electroplating facilities, vacuum encapsulation equipment, moulding equipment, environmental chambers for
temperature humidity and special chemical compatibility tests, sophisticated transducer modelling software,
CAD tools for mechanical and electrical design, computer based automated acoustic testing systems and Steris
One R system for testing probe materials for Steris compatibility.
Tecnitest (Spain)
www.tecnitest.com
Tecnitest is an NDT engineering company (with 20 full time employees and many sub-contractors) addressing its
activity to different industrial sectors. Tecnitest pays special attention to the use of advanced technologies
and design, its products and services, either those related to production quality control or with predictive
maintenance, with a well defined goal: optimisation of inspection cost, time and reliability.
ISO Test (Italy)
www.isotest.it
ISO Test was founded in 1981 to provide engineering, design, software development and assembly of automation
systems and NDT equipment to satisfy individual customer needs. Their experience offers a complete service
starting from an understanding of the origin of defects, to the selection of the most suitable system for NDT
of production components. ISO also offers a software package for Statistical Process Control (SPC). The aim of
professional improvement of know-how has been achieved by ISO with its presence in Brite-EuRam projects, by
which it can considerably increase its level of R&D. ISO was project co-ordinator in the Brite-EuRam II
DUALETO project and BREII 5535-0241 and partner in the following Brite-EuRam projects: BE-5029-92 ULTRASONIC
RESONANCE, BE-5252-92 OPTIMA, BE-7321 BRE-CT94-0926 RADICAD. It is currently participating in the Brite-EuRam
BE-3743 SMARTMEC project and in Brite-EuRam GRD1-1999-10445 RASQUAL project. ISO is also participating in a
joint venture with a Romanian company for the NDT market within the framework of JOPP programme.

TWI Ltd (UK)
www.twi.co.uk
TWI is one of Europe's largest independent research and technology organisations. Based at Abington near
Cambridge since 1946, TWI provides industry with technical support in welding, NDT and associated
technologies. TWI has over 550 skilled staff and a turnover of €50 million. TWI has participated in
approximately 35 European projects including several Framework VI CRAFT, STREP and IP projects.
ZUT (Poland)
www.zut.edu.pl
Electromagnetic NDT group at West Pomeranian University of Technology, Szczecin is one of the leading NDT and
inspection research organizations within Poland and has participated in many successful national (more than
10) and European (3 up to now) funded projects in the area of electromagnetic NDT techniques. Since year 2009
WPUT has extended its research capability into selected areas including high frequency (terahertz and
microwave) electromagnetic NDT of composite materials. We have pioneered research in terahertz time domain
composite materials inspection in Poland. This activity includes the inspection of multilayered composite
pipelines (especially glass fiber reinforced) and their adhesive joints.

TIMET is the world's largest supplier of high quality titanium metal products. With its unique combination of
strength, light weight and corrosion resistance, titanium is used in hundreds of diverse aerospace, industrial
and emerging applications where no other metal is as reliable or economical, especially on a lifecycle costing
basis. As a fully-integrated titanium manufacturer and distributor, TIMET's activities span every phase of
titanium research, manufacturing and sales. TIMET's technical laboratories in Savoir, Nevada and Witton,
England comprise the most extensive dedicated titanium research and development facilities in the world.
Chemists and research engineers consult with plant metallurgists on manufacturing processes to assure the
highest quality, optimised yields and minimised costs, to ultimately benefit TIMET customers.
